How to get thereSelwyn Snowfield is located an easy 2.5 hour drive from Canberra, 5.5 hour drive from Sydney and 6.5 hour drive from Melbourne. It is a requirement that all vehicles except 4WDs carry properly fitting chains at all times on the Snowy Mountains Highway. These can be hired most service stations on your way to Selwyn Snowfields. You will be required to pay an entry fee for the National Park which is $27 per vehicle per day. On Trail Facts
